HUAWEI P40 Lite E is Equipped With Upgraded Kirin 810F For Overseas Markets!

HUAWEI released the HUAWEI P40 Lite for overseas markets. Although this model is a simplified version of the HUAWEI P40, this model has nothing to do with the HUAWEI P40 series. In fact, it just uses "HUAWEI P40" in its name, and Chinese users should be very familiar with this model, because its model corresponding to the Chinese market is HUAWEI nova 6 SE. There are some differences in pricing between the two models. The overseas version of HUAWEI P40 Lite is equipped with 6GB of operating memory and 128GB of storage space, priced at 258 USD, which is equivalent to about 1800CNY, while the HUAWEI nova6 SE is equipped with 8GB of operating memory and 128GB storage space, priced at 2199CNY.


Now the overseas version of the "HUAWEI P40" family has a new member-HUAWEI P40 Lite E. It is not a higher-end flagship model than the HUAWEI P40 Lite, but a new version with low-end configuration. Like the HUAWEI P40 Lite, the front of the HUAWEI P40 Lite E is equipped with a 6.39-inch full screen, a single hole design in the upper left corner and an 8-megapixel selfie lens embedded.


However, in terms of the rear camera, HUAWEI P40 Lite E lacks an auxiliary lens, only has a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field auxiliary lens. In terms of performance, HUAWEI P40 Lite E is equipped with Kirin 810F processor, but the performance is the same as Hisilicon Kirin 810 processor configured by HUAWEI P40 Lite, and only has made some changes in packaging process like Kirin 710F.


In other configurations, the difference between HUAWEI P40 Lite E and HUAWEI P40 is relatively small, both are built-in 4000mAh battery, there are two colors of classic black and aurora blue on the back, pre-installed EMUI 9.1 system UI based on Android 9.The biggest difference is that HUAWEIP40 Lite E adopts a classic back fingerprint recognition scheme instead of HUAWEI P40 Lite's side fingerprint recognition scheme. The rear lens arrangement has also been changed from a rounded rectangle to a classic vertical arrangement.


The HUAWEIP40 Lite E is priced at 180USD. Although the performance is supported by Hisilicon Kirin 810F, the memory is only equipped with 4GB of storage and 64GB of storage space. Does HUAWEI really want to clear the inventory of 4G mobile phones and related chips through these mid- and low-end models?
