HUAWEI Nova 4e released: with 32 million front lens, sales price from 399 USD

On 14th March, HUAWEI held a conference about new products HUAWEI Nova 4e in Beijing, the new product focus on the young market and mainly recommend the pre-self-timer function, starting at 399 USD.


HUAWEI Nova 4e is equipped with a 6.15-inch dropwater screen, officially called "Pearl Screen", with full HD resolution.


The mobile phone still uses the sandwich structure with front and rear glass panel + metal middle frame. This time HUAWEI Nova 4e continues to try to change the light effect coating on the back. In addition to the gradient color, HUAWEI also introduced the light effect of the curve on the body of the HUAWEI Nova 4e. The body has three colors, including blue, black and white. The official name is " Garland Blue ", "Magic Night" and "Pearl White".


HUAWEI defines Nova 4e as a self-portrait smartphone product. This phone has a 32-megapixel front lens, which is the highest pixel front lens in the mobile phone industry. HUAWEI said that this lens with imaging algorithm can help users get more natural beauty effects while also taking care of more details.


In terms of the main lens, HUAWEI Nova 4e uses 24 million HD + 8 million ultra-wide angle + 2 million virtual tripe cameras configuration. According to the introduction, this 8 megapixel 120° super wide-angle lens uses a large curvature lens to effectively control wide-angle distortion and achieve a wide range of zoom capabilities from 0.6 to 6X with the support of a 24 million main lens.


In terms of hardware, HUAWEI Nova 4e is equipped with Kirin 710 processor, 4GB/6GBRAM+128GB ROM memory combination, equipped with 3340mAh high-capacity battery and 9V2A fast charge, which basically meets the current positioning of a consumer-grade mid-range mobile phone.

In addition to the new mobile phones, HUAWEI also released a new smart band and power bank at the conference.


The HUAWEI band 3 series has two products, named with HUAWEI band 3 and HUAWEI band 3 Pro. The difference between them is the material of the band, the HUAWEI band 3 Pro is made of metal and supports independent GPS. The band with a 0.95-inch touch screen and has various colors such as coral orange, aurora blue and mica powder etc. The HUAWEI band 3 Series supports comprehensive sports mode recording such as walking, running, riding, and traveling. The built-in battery can support 12 days of battery life.


This generation of band supports heart rate monitoring. HUAWEI claims that they have worked intensively with 301 Hospital and Harvard Health Center to provide personalized advice and sleep services to consumers. In addition, HUAWEI band 3 Pro also has built-in independent GPS and NFC mobile payment functions.


There are two versions of HUAWEI Fast Charge Power Bank, which are high-end version of Type-C and basic version of non-Type-C, the appearance of the ceramic white body with a matte design. And this Power Bank has passed the new national standard certification of the latest implementation of 2018. In order to ensure safe use, HUAWEI has tested the impact and collision of this Power Bank on the test standards of mobile phones. In terms of performance, this product supports the HiSilicon fast charge protocol, charging and discharging power can reach 18W, and is compatible with other mainstream fast charging protocols, supporting 5V2A and 5V1A charging and discharging.


In terms of selling price, the price of HUAWEI Nova 4e 4+128GB is 399 USD, the price of 6+128GB is 459 USD, and which will be officially on sale on 21^st March. HUAWEI band 3 price is 59 USD, HUAWEI fast charge power bank price is 24USD, will also be officially on sale on the 21st.
